IMR 8208

Re: IMR 8208

I have shot mine with that bullet and 37 grains of 8208. Shot pretty good. I would start lower maybe around 35 grains and work up. 37.5 was a little warm in my rifle. I can't get the velocity that i was getting 4350 without running into pressure but extreme spreads have been low and i have gotten good groups. Meters very well too.

Yes, I always buy large lots of powder at a time; and there was lots of hype and discussion on this powder. Probably should not have I agree, I just hate paying that Hazmat fee on small lots of powder. Thanks for the info beanland, that gives me a place to start.
