Well, the first lesson to be learned is snakes are not poisonous, they're venomous. Poison and venom are two separate things.

Only two kinds of "good" snakes. Dead ones and ones that say "Tony Lama" on the heel. Rest can't be made dead fast enough. I'm not hanging around to quiz a snake of any size if it's poisonous, venomous, famous or any other "ous" combination. Kill am all!

When I was based in Malaysia encounters with Cobra's was almost a daily occurrence. Imagine sticking your head into an aircraft wheel well and being face to face with one or being dragged out of bed in the middle of the night by the wife to remove one from the bathroom.
