I've got a barrel I used to use on a surgeon that I want to get fitted for my Curtis axiom. It's an 18" 308 bartlein with under 500rds otherwise I wouldn't even care. It's just too new to let it sit.
My local smith cannot due it do to the way he indicates barrels through his headstock. The barrel is too short. Who can do this and what am I looking at pricewise? I got quote $295 already once, just seeing if there is anyone else out there
