Gunsmithing In need of a gunsmith in Bay Area, CA

I have a Remington 700 SPS-v in jail until the 22nd and once I get it I want to get the barrel cut down to 20", threaded and have a muzzle brake installed. In my search for a brake I was lead here and it looks like I am going for a brake from RWS.

If anyone on here could do this or knows someone that could and doesn't charge an arm and a leg let me know.

Hi, I am getting parts to upgrade my 700 5-R and asked this question on Calgun.net. A Remington smith by the user name kendog4570 was recommended to me. He is in South Bay, and I have been communicating with him regarding various jobs he offers. Very nice guy, and I will use him when I get the parts. I am also in North Bay

Yes, I got ahold of Ken as well. Just shopping around a little bit more. Nice thing about Ken is that if I can make it down to Santa Cruz he can have it done in 2-3 hours.

Can you point to the muzzle brake you plan to use? I am considering Badger FET but still undecided

Thanks for the referral I gave him a call and he gave me a great price quote and he isn't too far from me
