I just returned from a trip and my case with my two 700p's let water in and completely ruined the rifles. I need a recommendations for a good gunsmith to rebarrel the rifles also any input on which barrels to go with would be appreciated.

Thanks

Rob

Re: In need of good Rem Gunsmith

Give GA Precision in North Kansas City, MO a call. Top notch work, I am waiting on my third rifle from them.

Talk with Ken, he is very helpful.

I am in Central Mississippi and the barrels look like they were on the bottom of the ocean for years. I'm not too worried about the outside but the rifling looks like crap after hours of cleaning.

I agree, send them to William, and I guarantee you will be very happy at the end. Not only with the work, but with super good customer care.

Tim Thompson in Shelby, MS is pretty good. He does a fine job. He also shoots F class and the works. His father Bill has been around and doing it for some time also. Good people.
