That Bloomberg is able to buy the election, or Trump just suffers a loss to one of the other Liberals, what are you guys doing in the event of the almost guaranteed panic buying, firearms, parts, ammo, reloading components, etc.?
I'm not advocating a panic buy, I'm just looking ahead. I'm good on firearms and mostly OK on reloading stuff, but I can still stand to have more brass and projectiles.
Are you guys looking ahead with an alternate plan?

Guns and ammo etc will never be more available then right now. Prices are probably as good as it will get too. I basically buy some each month in preparation for the rest of my life-mainly ammo and if you reload those supplies. It's never going to be as good as we have it now and only going to get more restrictive and eventually it will all go away little bit by little bit. IMO of course.

Closer to the election, my guess is people will start freaking out, they always do. Only after Trump wins will it calm back down. Prepare accordingly.

I roll my own ammunition for all the guns I own and have powder, bullets, brass, and primers in plenty now. Started building and rotating a stock pile after the last manic bullshit hoarding. If I conserve I can last the rest of my Life. If it comes to rampant violence I'll run out of my personal stash but there will be plenty lying around for the survivors.

VooDoo

As many have already mentioned, Stock up...on everything ammo and/or reloading supplies now vs waiting.

I’d buy lowers or full up ARs and spare parts kits as your budget allows.

Supressors should also be prioritized for purchase next 30 days if you feel one or more is needed; you want them in hand by inauguration.

If a democrat wins and senate is flipped, bad things will not be far behind.

You should have a lifetime supply of magazines already.
The only excuse would be if you just got some new gun that came out that needs brand new magazines.

I'd suggest make sure you have plenty of handguns.
In "Troubled Times", history shows there is limited use of showing up with a bunch of assault rifles most of the time for "resistance" members, but handguns tossed in some kid's lunchbox under their sandwich and delivered to a waiting party many times proved greatly useful.

Right now the communists are all about "assault rifles" but don't think for a moment they won't very quickly go after handguns as has been clearly shown in such recent places as Australia, England, Canada and such. Intelligent oppressors fear a population with lots of handguns floating around even more than rifles stashed in closets.

Another thing to think about is ammunition, stuff with terminal effects better than an ice pick.

I would also suggest Night Vision and thermal imaging, specifically stuff that can be rifle mounted.

Don't forget body armour either

Then get yourself some radios.

Remember that while right now you are seeing the idiots who are the democrat/communist politicians running around wanting to ban everything Bloomberg pays them to, the people really running the show are not idiots and are at least as smart as you about what would actually be a real threat to their power and control.

If you wait till the election, you'll be sol. Regardless of what happens on election night, you're probably gonna be in need. If the dems win (god forbid), they're gonna follow Virginia's lead. If trump wins, the left will lose their fuckin minds and civil war 2.0 may begin. Either way, I'd probably start prepping like yesterday.

I don't understand "panic buying".

If I truly wanted it, I would've bought it already. If it takes a potential confiscation/ban in order for me to buy it, then I probably didn't want it in the first place.

I'll just keep doing what I do now. I don't make spur of the moment panic decisions.

100%. Panic firearms buying is akin to emotionally driven investors who seem to have a knack for buying high and selling low in the endless search for market timing. Keep topping off the cache!

the funny thing is going to see who turns there guns in or holds out , well funny may not be the correct word . illegals and crooks will always have access to firearms and rifles and more and bullets just citizens shooting there guns will be more risky if bad things happen . bernie and or mike , warren , mr. but or biden are all the same thing they are out taking your rights away in favor of illegals and crooks and once the second is gone you can be sure other rights will be out the door real fast since there will be nothing to stop them .

I'd suggest figuring out what calibers you really need to keep. Sell the weapons you don't want to fund with new ammo. Flip that cash to focus on buying ammo in the calibers you keep.

While that is a good idea, something to think about however is having a variety of other weapons on hand that are not your primary weapons but shoot less common calibers, can often help you in odd times. Your LGS may be totally sold out of 9mm, but probably still have some boxes of .357 sig sitting there....
