I am in the need of a rifle case/drag bag for my 26" Savage in B&C A2 with SS10x42m and bipod.

Budget: $75
Usage: very low abuse (i.e. house > car > range > car > house)
Features: at least 48" main compartment, preferably w/smaller compartments. Shoulder straps preferable but not completely necessary.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Brian

drag bags will set you back a tad more that 75 bux

however

i cheap inexpensive gun case can be had for about $25.00 american pretty much anywere like cabellas or bass pro

midway drag bags are junk but they will keep you in that price range. I use mine for what you are talking about and the velcro is ripping off the handle and I have had to replace the zipper pull tabs... but it works

You will get hate on the board. But I just bought a NCStar Rifle case/shooting mat for $85.00. It looks to be well made. I use for the same purpose you stated.

All these web companies will take this stuff back. So if it comes and is really junk, send it back.

Shipping cost a lot less than paying for some thing you don't want.

I'm waiting for my brother to tell me what color he wants to order us 2 of them.

They also make just the rifle case.

You can get both at Walmart on line and a can of Scotch guard.
