Looking for a relatively inexpensive 6.5 Grendel Bullet that I can hand load to break in a build. I was going to use factory ammunition for the first 100 rounds through the new weapon, but it's tough to find right now. So I'm going to have to use hand loads. I have 200 Nosler 125 grain partitions, but I would like to save those for load development and hunting. Thanks in advance...

Nosler 123 Custom Comp. Back about 6 years ago, I was able to pickup an overrun bulk of them. Got 2 boxes of 1000/per box, for $155 each, shipped. Pretty much 2 for the price of 1 deal.

They're great for range work, and for plinking and LR shooting in the Grendel, because that's the cartridge that particular bullet was designed to be used in.

Before the insanity the Hornady 123 gr HPBT bulk offering at Midway was a good deal as well. Same projectile as in the American Gunner, are the only component source available for it AFAIK.

Thanks for the recommendation. I searched my normal sites for a couple boxes of these and came up with nothing. Stopped by my LGS today on my way home from work and grabbed a 250 count box of them. Priced right to boot at $73.00. (y)
