Gunsmithing Install original barrel?

I have an aac-sd that was chambered in 308. I had that barrel removed after about 500 rounds and installed a 6 creed remage barrel. Didn’t do anything to the action. No truing or blueprinting. I’ve got a defiance action on the way for the remage barrel. Can I install the factory 308 barrel back on the factory Remington action? Sorry if this is a silly question. What would that process entail?

Screw it on and torque it.

As long as you use the original recoil lug. If you changed to a thicker lug that would cause excessive headspace.

I’ve still got it. Bought a new lug to go with the remage.
