Rifle Scopes Installation question on SPUHR A-0025 Aimpoint micro T1 adapter

I have a SPUHR SP-4002 mount and a SPUHR A-0025 Aimpoint micro T1 adapter. For the life of me I can not figure out how to use the adapter. I removed the Aimpoint from it's own Picatinny rail adapter and used the screws provided with the SPUHR A-0025 to mount it to the Aimpoint. The Aimpoint dot intensity adjustment control covers one of the screw holes you need to put a screw into to put the adapter onto the SPUHR SP-4002 mount.

The first thing I thought was that I needed to turn the Aimpoint around. The problem with that is that I want to put it on the rear ring, and if I turn it around it looks like it will hit the scope turrets. Then I wondered if I could remove the upper ring from the mount and put the adapter plate. Well I could but then I can not put the screws back in the ring.

The only thing I can see that might work is to take both top rings off the scope, put the back ring on the front, turn the aimpoint around then mount it. If any one has figured out how to use the SPUHR A-0025 Aimpoint micro T1 adapter, I would really love to hear how they did it. If they had a picture they could share that would be even better.

Try mounting it on the forward ring so the Aimpoint sits at 4:00 o'clock. Get the eye relief & cant on the scope dialed in first, because you won't be able to get to the front ring bottom set of screws once the Aimpoint is mounted. The Aimpoint illumination knob is on the bottom with this setup. If you go to the Spuhr site (http://www.spuhr.com/reddot.html ) the 2nd picture shows this setup.
