im getting ready to buy my base to mount a bench rest night force scope.8x32x56.would it be better to buy the uni mount med one?or the med high uni mount?its going on a remington 700 milspec 308.bases are20 moa.and how would you sight it in for a 100 or 200 yrds with a 20 moa on it? seems like it would shoot kinda high even with the elavation down most of the way.or would it be better to buy the regular picatinny base and the rings?

Re: installing a night force

I bought the unimount and am wondering the same thing. im a believer in the fewer parts the better. so i bought the unimount with the 20 moa built in. I like it so far but i am curious to other people's opinion

Re: installing a night force

Not too sure on the height difference between the unimount, and their ultralight rings... but i have the 1" high NF rings with a 56mm objective NF and i have adequate barrel clearance on my Remy 700

Re: installing a night force

The Uni-Mounts it not what I would recommend. Get a NF 20moa base and 1.125" center height rings. You can go with the NF direct mount that would work also.

The Uni-Mount is more for a AR or other rifle that have a high cheek comb.
