Installing a stock

Re: Installing a stock

i think most actions that i can recall seeing posted were done to 45-60 inch pounds. i have mine set at 50 inch pounds. some one will chime in or search it. but i am also seeing articles on tuning the action by starting at 20 inch pounds and going up 5 at a time til you get it where it shoots best.

Re: Installing a stock

Believe it or not, every rifle is different and they will shoot somewhat better or worse depending on torque. Google the manufacturer's torque recommendations and try it.
