I recently swapped from Vortex (seekins) rings to some slightly higher ARC M10 rings to create clearance for tenebraex covers.
Today I figured I’d finally zero it.

Look through bore and scope both seem close so I send a shot at 100 yards.

    Holy shit!

    It’s still perfectly zero’d!

M10’s are awesome rings to install!
    So simple.

It's a great day when stuff like that happens. Last year I mounted a hunting scope on a friend's new rifle. He got a Savage 11 in 6.5CM and a Vortex Diamondback. He wanted some help getting it mounted, fitted to him, and then zeroed. I obviously explain the process, tell him it can take about 5-10 shots to get it zeroed.

So I got it all ready to shoot, lay down behind the rifle and send the first round. It was .1 mil down and .1 mil left of the POA. Because it was the first round out of the rifle and I failed to dry fire before shooting that round, I sent another and then another. The scope needed .1 mil right, and it was zeroed.

I told my buddy, "this will probably never happen again in our lifetimes."
