Invasion

No, he hasn't. Thats the same question Tucker Carlson asked Abbott. Abbott's response was "It's more complicated than that."

No it isn't, unless you're owned by and are part of the swamp.

Sooooo.....Tucker wants mob rule?
I'm not sure Tucker understands "democracy".
He is playing with a double edge dagger, he doesn't even recognize as a dangerous weapon.

Since there is an invasion at the southern border should not the military or at the very least the national Guard be deployed to repel it?Why hasnt Abbott deployed the Texas guard yet or has he?
Trump

Abbott

Maybe being from NY you're only just now becoming aware of this, but, seriously, what the fuck?

About Paxton circa May 2022

Paxton has been hitting back at the feds in court and winning. Lots of reasons he was impeached ...

The Lone Star State has sued the Biden administration more than any other Republican-led state, waging 25 lawsuits against the Democrat in his first 15 months in office.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's filing rate is equally as high as his win rate. The federal courts have sided with him in 93% of cases in which there has been movement.

I wrote this before but Abbott could have made a measurable impact on illegal border crossings.

He could implement a program similar to MPP or what most people know as Trumps “Remain in Mexico” program.

Abbott should call the governors in the Mexican border states of Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas that border Texas and explain to them we need to see a minimum of 75% illegal border crossings within 48 hours. US Border data will be used by both parties for measurement.

To ensure this happens Texas will place Maersk shipping contaIners two high across the inbound side of randomly selected border crossings from Mexico into Texas and will remain until the 75% reduction in illegal border crossing has been reached.

If the 75% reduction is not reached the border crossings inbound from Mexico into Texas will remain closed. if the 75% reduction is achieved then the borders will reopen. If they drop to 40% then the borders into Texas from Mexico will close.

Once all of those trucks carrying fruits, vegetables, and Meat start run out of fuel and their cargo begins to rot while sitting in a line that is 30 miles long, the natives will get restless and began to attack the Mexican officials to do something to open the border as their livelihood depends on it.

Sure the DOJ will sue but by time that works thru the courts it will take a while.

Is it a permanent solution to the problem? No, but in the interim it will make a dent in the illegal border crossings.

Put the pressure on Mexico and make them step up. When Trump implemented MPP/Remain in Mexico it didn’t stop illegal border crossings but IIRC it dropped the volume close to 40%-50% which in todays numbers would be huge.

Abbott needs to grow some balls and tell Mexico he’s the Jefe now not Biden and if you want access to Texas commerce you have to stop the illegal border crossings or pound sand. We have more resources then you and Texas can wait it out longer than Mexico can.

Its not an end all solution but better than installing razor wire and floating beach balls none of which are working now.

Abbott has leverage over Mexico so he should use it.

Only mobs I know of are coming across the border, as I type this.

Pedo Joe bragged he was going to steal the election and he did. Nobody did a God***ed thing to stop it, including Trump.

He also taunted that he would open the border and there would be a non-stop flow of illegals. Non-stop, "until white guys like (him) were a minority." This was before he stole the election. What did Abbott do to prepare for this invasion for 3+ years?

Didn't our dads, grand dads and uncles fight the big war so weren't invaded?

Not much. He’s beholden to his political donors who don’t want to see a reduction in cheap labor. Those donors are corporate ag farming in south Texas, construction industry, and to a lesser extent the hospitality industry.

These groups don’t care whether the governor is Beto or Abbott they just don’t want limitations to inflow of cheap labor.

Somebody has to suppress wages.

Didn't we learn what would happen from the cotton growing days?

Abbots making a big show of force at the border ,but he's taking 10's of thousands of dollars in donations from that developer north of Houston that's building the Colonia that all the illegals are buying lots in and moving their ratty trailers onto and the cartels are using for safe house's, Abbotts a typical politician.

Then he needs to be exposed and ousted.

Still one of the best governors in the country. N.Mexico and Arizona both have dumb cunts, Cali has Newsome, no idea whose in charge of Louisiana/Mississippi but they're likely corrupt because it's tradition, Florida has Desantis who is marginally better.

Here's a question. Let's say the National Guard goes down to the border. They cannot legally go into Mexico and they legally cannot send people back across the border.

At best they could detain people but as soon as they do that the ball of responsibility gets passed to the feds, who then say "let em go".

If they were on the same page it would be a different story. That being the case, what would it do other than be symbolic to send them to the border?

Abbott was a covid tyrant. He is anything but a decent governor. How anyone could have cast a vote for anyone that took part in this ongoing criminal operation is beyond my understanding. I’m sure he is getting rich from the cartel and NGOs. Criminal to the highest degree.

It was a mixed bag in Texas. On the one hand there was the "party line" and on the other enforcement was lax in many areas.

Yes, there were some "stings" and some arrests but the ones I remember were all the effort of local jurisdictions.

I would assume the NG would live up to their name, which is to guard, in this case the border. Them guarding the border would prevent people from entering, like a giant checkpoint.

Question now for you, why can't they send people back across the border? If they can't cross legally and step over the line or border, why can't they be pushed back to their side of the line?

And where does it say they have to turn them over to the Feds, which will just give them water and turn them loose? Fuck the Feds.

Is it time yet?
Lets let a few more million come in and start on Monday. I need to mow and bbq this weekend.

There are enough illegals in the U.S. right now or in a few short years to declare this country Mexico or 'Americo' or whatever trashy hybrid name they want to come up with, and fly their own flag.

They breed like roaches. If the women aren't pregnant when they come across the river, they will be within a few weeks after drying off.

Abbott needs to tell Biden "No thanks, we got this." and see what happens.

Alex Hernandez has done segments on what Abbott really negotiated at the border. This could have bee prevented day 1. This decision was voluntary.

The hotel is among many in Manhattan that have been designated to house migrant families with children, who have started attending schools in midtown this Fall. The city is currently paying about $385 a night per migrant family that needs housing and feeding. According to Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine, asylum seekers are costing the city roughly $10 million every day.
