I had two contrasting product service experiences lately. I sent an old pair of Wind River binos in or replacement eye cups that were fallen off. They decided to replace them with a pair of Cascades. No consultation. Said they no longer make/use anything bit twist ups now. A little disappointing for the former customer service/warranty standard bearers.
On the other hand I have a 3-18x42 IOR that I have used the shit out of for around 3-4 years. Last Dec. It fogged while moving from a warm house go the 15-20 deg snowy coyote fields. Sent it go VAL at IOR and when it arrived it was not fogged. Puzzled but I accepted it back and used it the rest of the year until elk season this year. It fogged again and was sent back again. Again it was clear upon arrival. VAL called and discussed the options. He was very straight forward and soon sent a new replacement scope based on believeing his customer'stestemony. A clear contrast, very similar to IOR scopes. Thanks VAL.
