My eyes don't get strained or tired after looking through the German glass all day. Many lesser brands give me a headache after an hour.

Funny,I had a NF a couple of years ago that said " MADE in JAPAN !! ". Not that it matters anyway. It was still Top Quality. </div></div>
Mine says "Made in USA", it says it on the web sight also, plus i called them, they told me they are working on building ALL there scopes in house, I have the 1x4 NSX

Key word being build..doesn't mean the parts are made in the USA. I don't really care either way I think they are both great scopes. Its a coin toss both have there plus and minuses. Find the best deal you can and go for it.

Key words being "Working On".The NXS 5.5-22X50 (Made in Japan) was purchased from a fellow Hide member and sold to yet another.I don't know if as of now if they are ALL made in the USA.I'm buying a 2.5-10x24 in the next week or so and could care less if it says Made in the USA or Japan.

The NF 3.5-15x to the 12-42x SFP scopes are made in Japan.

The 1-4x, 2.5-10x, and the 3-15x50mm FFP are made here in the USA. The glass is still Japan.

NOTE: All their scopes are assembled and repair work is done here in the USA.

I agree 100%. Had a IOR 6x24x50 on my KMW308. Glass was exceptional but the scope did not track true. Replaced it with a NF 5.5x22x50, best trade I ever made!

When my 5.5x22x50 arrived I had NF customer service on the phone in 3 minutes. It had made in Japan stamped on tube and I was going to try to get my money back. Lady explained the tube was outsourced, noone would make it to their spec here in the US so they outsourced it to a Japanese firm. Since it (tube) was imported and it is the largest single component of the scope, It had to be marked "made in Japan" But she assured me the scope was assembled here in the US. Couldn't more happier with this scope!

The info on click repeatability is helpful. I would like to see more info on that.
