Rifle Scopes IOR Valdada scopes on a .50 BMG

Anybody have any experience with IOR Valdada scopes in ELR shooting, particularly on a .50 BMG platform? I don't have any experience with them, but for the money, they ought to perform as well as a Nightforce, including warranty service. If you have experience with them, please share! What I've heard so far is a mixed bag. Thanks

By the way, I'm aware that there are both fan boys and haters of these scopes. If you have an opinion one way or the other, please share WHY you have that opinion. I'd really appreciate some hard data I can base a decision on. Thanks

The gist of it is that they can be pretty good when they actually work, but when they don’t, good luck getting any type of CS from IOR. More than likely it will turn into a nice paperweight.

With that in mind, when you consider what your other options are for the money ($2500+), it just becomes a question of why would you even take the risk of buying one when you could just as easily buy a S&B, NF, etc. and not even need to worry about it?
