I spoke to Scott and Liberty Optics about six months ago and he mentioned that he had heard news about IOR coming out with an MOA/MOA scope. All my scopes are MOA/MOA variety and i would like to stick with that setup. I just wish there were more options besides NF and USO. Any updates or news on that?

MOA in an IOR already has it and let me explain......
On some of their SFP scopes like the 3-18x42 yes it has a MIL reticle on 10power and that number is circled,,,,,,BUT it is also a MOA reticle on 18power which is BADASS because I am NOT a MIL shooter. This is because it has a 6x zoom ratio so you can have a MIL reticle and 10power and a MOA reticle on 18power again not many people know this, On the 6-24 the reticle MILs at 12 power and the reticle is a MOA reticle at 21.5power again BADASS!!!! Do your research Call Val and ask him about it and he will tell you the same thing. To me having a MIL reticle and MOA Knobs is Stupid and thats why I stayed away from scopes that had miss matched knobs/reticles until the IOR came out with the 6x zoom ratio which turns the MIL reticle into a MOA reticle. Now my NightForces have went down the road and I now have IORs and couldnt be happier the glass is amazing and tracks as good as the 4 Nightforces Ive sold!
Push the buy button on a 3-18x42 or the 6-24x50 both 35mm tube that HAVE MOA reticles, they both are amazing scopes, and the MP8 Dot reticle WOW is all I can say my all time favorite reticle with the floating dot very BadAss

IF what you say is true that would be pretty bad ass. The only down side is that with the MP8 reticle it would only give your "10" Moa of come ups since the reticle only shows 10mils. I wonder what power the MOA would work out on their 2-12x model. That would be a perfect AR10 scope.

+1 on the IOR beeing a badass!!. Just ordered a 6-24x50 yesterday from SWFA (after I cancled my PST order). But that reticle and scope combo does seem like the perfect ar10 scope. And it looks like a killer.

You don't need a 6x zoom ratio to achieve MOA on the reticle. If the mil reticle is calibrated at 10x, you can simply dial down to about 9x and get 4 MOA per mil.
I say about 9x because the reticle will actually be subtending 4 IPHY (Inch Per Hundred Yards) at 9x. To get true MOA, you would need to be around 8.5 power.
Similarly, the numbers quoted by Smokin will actually make the reticle subtend 1 IPHY for each 1/2 mil mark. If you wanted the reticle in true MOA, you would need to be around 17.2x for the 18x, and around 20.5x for the 24x models.

Thanks for that link. The scopes look real nice with the digital illumination. I also like the fact they offer the Moa/Moa in both SFP and FFP versions. We finally have another option besides NF and USO.
