I have both iPods and an iPhone that I use daily and I would like to know what weather measuring devices and ballistic programs function well with iOS. Thanks for the help

Ballistic AE. One stop shop as long as you have Internet it will get your local weather information and is stored with your zero. You create a trajectory by inputting all your specs, on the weather tab you click the upside down teardrop which auto fills your current alt, temp, bar press, and humidity. Save it as a favorite. Then you pull up the HUD, load your favorite and it corrects for whatever your current weather is in the same fashion and give you your current dopes.

I've found it to quite exact using the jbm and g7 ballistics. You have options for all kinds of things.. It's pretty amazing.

iPad and iPod/iPhone apps two separate purchases but your favorites can be saved to the cloud and shared between devices.

IMHO there's not much better out there.

I use Ballistic AE as well. Like Turk said it will fill in weather for you, but also gives you the ability to input manually, which I found useful once I got a kestrel. It's been a while since I bought it, but if I remember right, there is are two versions. The higher priced had the heads up display which is very useful. I'd recommend spending the extra for it, if that's still how it's sold.
