Rifle Scopes is .025 clearance enough?

I ordered up stainless rings from Murphy Precision for my new F-Open rig. I just test mounted the scope and I have .025 clearance between the barrel and the scope bell. Is this going to be enough clearance? The next highest rings that he offers are .200 taller and I'm already at the top of my adjustable cheek pieces adjustment. Cheek weld would really suffer. I don't want to go through the trouble of polishing them if I might have contact with the barrel upon firing. I don't see it happening but wanted others opinions.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I just got off the phone with Murphy to get his torque specs and asked him what he thought about it. My scope is a NF Benchrest and he said I would be looking at about .010 flex with normal caliber/weighted rifles. This one is a relatively small caliber and a 20.5 lbs gun so he said it won't hardly even flex. Looks like I'll be in business. I like my scopes as low as possible but this thing brings it to a whole new level!
