is 338 edge the same as 338 ultra mag

i just saw factory ammo from remington 338 ultra mag. is that the same as 338 edge which is a 330 rem ultra necked up to 338???

No the 300 rum is a bit longer to the shoulder than a 338 rum. Thus the 338 edge is longer to the shoulder than the 338 rum.
