Is it true that a a remington adl has the same barrel as a pss? The only difference is the park job and stock?

i think the only difference is the contour of the bbl.

Looking at the Remington website I do not even see any ADL models listed.

The Rem 700 PSS has a 26" carbon steel barrel in a Remington Varmint contour. Finish for the barreled action is Parkerized. The quality of the barrel is on par with the rest of Remington's barrels, nothing special.

As for the non PSS models with similar barreled actions as the PSS, look at the SPS Varmint. I beleive it will be the same except with a matte blued finish. Or you can look at teh SPS Tactical models if you want a shorter barrel.
