Rifle Scopes Is my scope too close?

Title says it all, normally I would like a larger gap between my scope and rail, I really do not want to destroy my AMG. Let me know your thoughts

What caliber? Check video on you tube of scopes slapping barrel/hand guard on recoil from being that low.

Pfft, you have an ocean of space there brother, no worries.

I've seen pics posted here where their is a human hair's width of space visible between the optic and the barrel. And they are wondering if they can go lower still
