Is Russia done pretending?

Might take more than one and it depends on size of the nuke plus your definition and limitation of "electronics".

In the video it mentions a 300+ street lights went out. While yes an effect, it was in a small localized area, less than 1% of all street lighting in Hawaii

I am not saying that an EMP emitted by a Nuke at the proper altitude would not cause damage. What I am saying is I don’t believe it would destroy everything or be unrepairable. As noted in the above study the pulse emitted by the EMP must be in phase and at the proper angle to have an effect. As it did in Hawaii.

Basically those line just happened to be at the proper angle for the pulse to propagate.

Yeah, totally.

How far away it was probably doesn't matter at all.

If it had gone off directly overhead probably would have only knocked out 400, maybe 450, streetlights.

Nukes are weak ass weapons sensationalized for effect.

ask the people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August of 1945 if they’re worried about an EMP

Yeah totally.

Because there is no difference between low-yield vs high-yield or low altitude vs high altitude detonations. The phisiks is IIIIIIIdentical.

All they had to do was brush the rubble off their playstations and fire them up. Because all their PCBs, silicon chips and low voltage electronics from back in the 1940s were much tougher than modern PCBs, silicon chips and low voltage electronics.

ETA: Speaking of reading. Are any words in this previous post giving you any trouble?

Wow, you seem like a fairly disturbed individual.

Good luck on your journey through life. Take care.

Grid at least in Europe is “coping” the green movement and solar power subsidy overloaded local transformers, wind turbines proved to be extra unreliable and erratic and in some cases (spain especially) during summer and high wind you get unstable power generation where you have local excesses and inability to hold frequency. Couple that with morons phasing out thermal plants (those are primarily used as “freq fixers” as you can power on almost instantly) and you get outages, fried local 20kva tranformers fires and plenty of trouble and all that without a geran or god forbid a nuke. We dont need Russia to fuck us over we are perfectly able and willing to fuck ourselves multiple times over even.
