Is something going on in Ukraine?

They don't want to keep the powder dry for China I guess.

Another good article, apparently the HIMARS systems are not the "wonder weapon" that they were touted as.

He told the truth. Gov’ts hate that. Another life destroyed by the system. Of course you would blame him considering your constant bootlicking and praise for authoritarianism while mocking anyone who speaks openly and honestly.
Thats the second time he's been detained. I am shocked he didn't get his ass out of Ukraine after the first time.

There goes about $5,000,000 of our tax dollars.

So when we give away these weapons there has NEVER been accountability on how they are used. How many of our own weapons have been eventually used on Americans or American allies?

FU Zelenskyy. I hope Putin recipirocates appropriately, and target the people REALLY behind this too.

fake russian propaganda, or are they monsters?

It was probably part of a disinfo campaign all along.

Who knows, In any case Ukraine holds something only couple % of the turf ,something like 2km2 of Bakhmut so to walk away and let others take the remaining quarters would be unusual unless the grievances are true. Note that they also canceled Wagner's access to prisoner recruiting already months ago. More likely than not Military is getting feed up with PMC publicity , when boss man goes on telegram literaly standing among bodybags and says he lost 1000 soldiers in a month , while fat cats at MOD prance around ,denying them shells. You can imagine the public outcry that generates. Wagner is noted for being even more artillery intensive than the army.

The Washington Post releases new documents from US intelligence leaks. They concern the conflict between Prigozhin and the Russian Ministry of Defense, which escalated again.

The leaks date back to February when Wagner's handler had already started blaming the military for a shortage of ammunition for his PMC. Data was obtained through wiretapping and message interception.

The documents show that "the Russian military leadership was frustrated by Prigozhin's harsh public attacks and discussed how to suppress his criticism."

Also, officials of the Russian Defense Ministry "were not sure that it was possible to successfully wage an information war against Prigozhin if the government did not prohibit him from making public statements."

CIA military sources in Russia "couldn't say unequivocally" whether Wagner received ammunition because it was not distributed directly from the ministry but through a task force in Bakhmut. At the same time, the sources admitted that "Prigozhin's statements may be true."

One of the documents for February 12 stated that the head of the General Staff Gerasimov "ordered to stop the supply of ammunition, as well as military transport flights intended for the transport of ammunition" to the Rostov headquarters of the PMC (we note that on February 23, Prigozhin announced that the problem had been resolved and the shipment of shells for Wagner resumed).

After Prigozhin's public claims, he was summoned to a meeting with Putin and Shoigu on February 22. The day before, the curator of the PMC asked the President of Russia to allow him to continue recruiting from prisons, to train the mobilized and recruit foreigners, in particular, Afghans, into Wagner.

But Putin essentially refused. "The document, citing FSB interceptions, says that Putin ordered Prigozhin to resolve these issues with the Ministry of Defense taking the side of his generals and not Chief Wagner," the publication reports.

Man, can you imagine how bad it would be if Russia had their shit together? Ukraine is already fucked. (As well as American tax payer). However, I heard Hunter and Zelesnki were both in good spirits.

Not directly related to current situation in ukranistan, but a very interesting stuff about JFK:
JFK pulled support for the Bay of Pigs... Not one bit surprised RFK JR would want to do the same in Ukraine.

While I actually agree with not fucking around like we are in Ukraine, we should have stormed Cuba and sent Fidel and Che straight to hell.

Here RFK Jr is talking with Mac Gregor. Some where in here he talks about, could you Imagine our response if Russia invaded Canada or Mexico... All I can think is well JFK basically let them have Cuba and refused to act.

While I can agree with RFK jr we should not be doing what we are in Ukraine, the way we are. I can not get behind his green energy policy. I'd rather fight a proxy war in Ukraine than his idea of Carbon caps and taxes to destroy our energy supply.

Cuba is in our backyard while Ukraine isn’t.

We have an invasion at our southern border that should be stopped first.

Helping Ukraine while there is an invasion here is like neglecting to address a burglary in my own home to help my neighbor with a fire in their kitchen.

And nobody could put a reticle on Putin today for the 9 May celebrations? I'm guessing security was ultra-tight out to 2 KM or so. And air defenses were turned-up to 11. Would have been spectacular...
