Isn't SSA the Aussie company that is making Sean Carlock's head stamped 338 Edge brass? If it is I've heard very good things about it over on long range hunting. Very uniform in size and weight and guys were getting 20 plus reloadings for each piece of brass.
I asked the same question about SSA brass. I found it in a caliber I shoot alot. If it is comparable to Nosler it will do well. I did hear that Nosler bought SSA, not sure when.
I have a grip of SSA .308 and have reloaded it a few times. I feel it is very good brass. Compared to some of the others at least. It cleans up good, has no problems going through the reloading process. I'm no expert, just my $.02
