ARMSLIST - For Sale: Remington 700 Varmiteer 223, BRAND NEW + 200 ballistic tip ammo

The guy is asking $700 for it. I am new to shooting and I want to take this out to 300 eventually. Thanks for any information you guys can provide me with.

That's pretty high IMO. SPSV's can be had around $550 and that's about $100 worth of ammo. The scope, mounts, and sling are garbage and add no real value.

BUT, 700's aren't exactly a dime a dozen right now with the recall either so if you gotta have it now you're going to have to pay what somebody wants for it. I'd personally hold off for a better price or try to get him down to $650 or less.

Okay thank you very much for the information. I let him know $650, im still waiting to hear from him. I guess i'll have to replace the trigger if I get it. I was going to replace the stock regardless. Thanks for responding so quickly.
