The knife caught my eye. Great history.

Definitely a Randall. It has the early pre Heiser sheath. The two star general looks familiar. Mark Clark? Just checked. Gen. Clark was capturing Rome during the Normandy invasion.
It might come to me later.

The sheath and handle sure look Randall but the Model 1 of that era had a layered leather handle not the finger grooved one afaik. Looks like my model 14 handle but those don't have a butt cap or pommel. the history is a little vague. https://www.randallknives.com/randall-history/

Doesn’t look finger grooved more like the whole thing is “ribbed” for grip.

Lot of variation and modification in the early knives. The sheath looks like the early pre Heiser sheaths I have seen.
