Rifle Scopes Is this RDO not going to work on this pistol?

I put a SightMark RDO on my S&W Model 22S. The RDO manual says it fits 'Standard dovetail mounts' and the Model 22S manual says it comes with a 'Weaver-Style' mount rail.

Look at the pics below and tell me if it can be used in this configuration.

The RDO is level, and tight, but the tilt in that clamp is bothersome.

Take a look at this mount:

It is a combination dovetail and weaver style mount. I'm not suggesting it, just using it to illustrate the difference. On the top of the mount, the narrow part is a dovetail for tipoff rings. the lower, wider portion of the mount is used for weaver-style rings. Your optic is made for the narrower dovetail mount, and you have it on a wider, weaver-style mount.

There are adapters to convert a dovetail rail to a weaver-style rail, but i don't know of any that will convert a weaver-style rail to a dovetail.
