I don't know much info about this rifle - its a 700SA .308 W/Hart Barrel. It shoots very well with 168SMK, however with 175SMKs 4 out of 5 rounds have light primer strikes.

Does this have to do with the OAL of the cartridge?

need a little more details......have you tried switching back to 168gr after the light primer strilkes?......or did you just now shoot a batch of 175 and the light strikes started?

ide start by cleaning and inspecting the rifle....replace the striker spring if necessary.......then try another lot of 175, could have just gotten a bad batch.

if problems persist, try shooting 168 gr again, and if you dont have any issues, ide contact who ever did the rebarreling.
