Gunsmithing It doesn't get any more redneck

Re: It doesn't get any more redneck

so what does it run these days for the larger bolt handle arm? I haven't ever really considered it but after looking at all of these creative ways of not buying one, i'm guessing it mustn't be very cheap

Re: It doesn't get any more redneck

65 and up i think, possibly 75. some guys use a different process and its more, others have a system and its less. az precision/phoenix customs did mine

Re: It doesn't get any more redneck

You can get PTG knobs for like ten bucks. Get your hack saw out, get a 5/16x24(?) die and a file. Even the crudest job would look better then that epoxy. IMHO.

Re: It doesn't get any more redneck

The bolt knob mod was a success. I really like how much easier it makes it to cycle. It might not look the best. But I am not looking at it while I am shooting....
