It starts

Nothing started. A whacko bent on revenge got his fifteen minutes. No ARs or AKs involved, no apparent fringe political beliefs, just a messed-up mass of DNA with a Social Security number.

My wife is a liberal (Texas liberal) . Like a liberal 20 years ago in a NE state. Once convinced he was just a crazy and wasn’t caught up in pizzagate, she said “I bet he bought the gun legally “. shrug.

And now we're told a shotgun fires 9 or 12 bullets with each trigger pull. The next lie hoisted on the sheep will be, "No one needs a weapon capable of killing nine people with one shot."

What no one really needs are politicians that haven't had their mouths and assholes surgically closed to keep all the shit from spewing out of them.

I work for the Annapolis PD. This guy wasn't motivated by current politics. Just a random crazy with a longstanding axe to grind because the local paper put him on the police blotter for harassing someone.

Still, the media immediately chimes in with comments about the President. Local and national politicians start their stump speeches on the need for more gun control. Everyone trying to make as much political hay out of it as they can.

Crazy people sometimes do really crazy things. There are a LOT of them out there, and who knows why and when they tip?

Your crazy Uncle Ted and Aunt Alex think a 00 buckshot loadholds 30 pellets. That's a whole mag of 5.56 in one shell...

Ted Nugent; firearm owners' worst frienemy.

I am amassed that more of this type of issue has not happened to radio an TV stations. The amount of calls for cnn an others to be held accountable are everywhere, yet they just keep spewing their shit across the air waves.

Because conservatives, Republicans, Freedom loving Americans & Patriots tend to be very slow to violence as well as very law abiding.
Now if the news media was talking against SJW causes then we all know how the violence level goes.....

Dont be a pussy, you are the worst enemy if you think Ted is a problem, go find your balls.

The only way Ted could be a worse image for gun owners is if he shot up a school. Thankfully, most people have forgotten (or never knew) who he is...

As a hunter and a sportsman, he makes me cringe. He brings this same image to firearm owners.

I know where my balls are. They are in my wife's purse, right where she put them...

And, no, The Nuge was serious- he was trying to show the fallacy of banning assault weapons. (A noble endeavor, but piss poor execution.) He's an idiot. And, if you don't think he is an idiot, you may be one too.

Ted Nugent is the worst personification of a gun owner. Pick someone like Hickok45 or Julie Golob to represent us. Ted Nugent was on the Joe Rogan podcast recently too:

This is your evidence that Nugent is bad, Maybe we have too many hunting regulations. Didnt you get the memo laws dont matter anymore. Ted is just fine, weak people with guns are the worst danger to gun owners.

Hunting regulations are in place so we can sustain the populations of animals for decades to come. Laws definitely matter but not to people like Ted Nugent who are part of the celebrity elite that think they are above the rest of us.

That's what they were sold to people as, but as never fails, they are now all about money, power and control and more importantly "Agendas" for the politicians & the special interest groups that usually hate us.

Proper management would enable there to be a large number of animals (with a bit of help to maximize their survival rates in the local habitat), which would enable more hunting with much less restriction overheads.

Not BAD, an IDIOT. Lots of "good" people are idiots. Lots of "bad" people are not. Good and bad are subjective. Ted is demonstratively an idiot.

The game laws that cover a specific species (for pretty much any state) could be contained within the user guide that come with a new scope- in print big enough to read from space, with room to spare. Ted can't read a scope guide? OK, that wouldn't surprise me.

I hunted California for 2 years and had no problem not racking up 11 violations in a single incident- and was successful in taking my deer. As a matter of fact, in ~30 years of hunting, in states from CT to CA, I've been successful in not racking up any game law violations. If you are such an idiot you cannot understand the game laws, you should not be hunting. If you cannot follow the game laws you are a poacher.

Laws do not matter any more, if they did Hilary would be in jail. If there is not equal application of the law there is no law at all. There are so many laws that the law is but a tool for evil government to harass anyone that is a threat to their predominance, from the local popo to the highest offices of the land. If you are concerned that someone that gets a politically motivated violation issued is now a bad representation of his rights you are a shallow fool.

Oh, those hunting violations are a very small reason why he is a bad representation for exercising our rights. And if you think those specific laws for hunting are there to push some political agenda and not set because wildlife specialists, forest rangers, and conservationists agree that we need them to secure the future for hunting then you can join me in being a fool. You can be as shallow or deep as you want.

Hickok45 is a doddering old fucking Fudd who needs to fuck off and go away.

How is he a fudd? He clearly owns and enjoys shooting the latest semi auto pistols and rifles.

I don't know that he's a Fudd, but every once in a while in his commentary he's less than boldly unapologetic about the nature of some of the weapons that he plays with. Offhand, he sounds like a man who is hedging his bets as he supplies masturbatory material to people who will never be able to own what he shoots and yet would sell your right to own such things down the river for extra special bread and circuses.

He is sponsored by the NRA, he will fall in line when it comes down to it. I think he's actually broadening people's minds towards firearm ownership by presenting in a calm manner how much fun they can be while being safe.

Are you from California?

Why is it they only talk their trash in libtard city's/land?

I’m sure the above is rhetorical, but it for the same reasons that internet bad assets only run their mouths from the safety of their basements...

They're starting shit in Pa now . See if they over play their hand .

Nope, from Texas actually. I'm just a devils advocate. I don't hold onto many beliefs or trust any system over another.

DFW. But Austin is fun. I loved the time I spent there.

Godless communist with no beliefs, I knew it. Your "From" Texas because they kicked your ass out, you found comfort amongst your fellow travelers in DC I bet.

Here's a little info on our government and wildlife. Why are there hunting licenses ? Where does that money go? It sure as hell not to help and manage wildlife populations? Here's another! Why did they ban lead shot for waterfowl? Maybe because some government assholes had stock in steel? Was steel shot good for the duck population? The answer is no! Many more ducks are shot and wounded due to steel shot! They have a game limit on the law so why should it matter how they died, right? Oh yea, I forgot, the deemed lead bad for us! They also say the earth is gonna melt! Why do governments charge boat ramp fees and fishing licenses? Are they doing anything to help the fish? Are they restocking rivers and lakes with our money? Are they dredging creeks to keep spawning ares from drying up? The answer is no! So where the fuck does all this money go? People with half a brain know! I could go on and on, but I think you get the point!

Who kicked my ass out? And how can I be a communist if I don't have any beliefs. I am not in a position to push my agenda (if I had one) because I am busy working and getting my engineering degree. I'm still in Texas and I love it here.

Lead is a carcinogenic so its not a good idea to spread that shit out in feeding grounds of fowl. I dont want to eat tumor ridden duck. I agree dead is dead though.
Who said the earth will melt? If you are talking about global warming/climate change just wait until there are a billion migrants emigrating from where they live because of longer than normal droughts or more severe weather patterns.
A certain percentage of all fees, licenses, and sales go directly to the wildlife fund. That percentage is getting smaller because the government is gutting those departments and programs, not because they have the money to do so. They probably are re-purposing (ie stealing) that money instead of putting it in those fish and game programs.

How many ducks do you think I've eaten in my lifetime that were being hunted with lead. When I was a kid I used to carry the lead pellets in my mouth while hunting with my pellet rifle . My freinds as well. It allowed for quicker loading after the shot. I'm still here and so are they! Also sugar will kill. They seem whatever they want to deem dangerous as long as it benefits them. Tell me I'm wrong. Give me your experiences. I'm not talking about book experience. I'm talking real world.

I will say it is a tough battle ahead but I don't think corporations would manage it any better. Public sector programs can help if they are low-level small community based. Once you start reaching nation-wide sweeping regulation is where you see stuff getting fucked up. What works in Alabama may not work in Minnesota.
I agree that once government got into giving out loans for education, education became too expensive. Once they meddled with healthcare, all of a sudden healthcare premiums skyrocketed. When they wanted to increase security after 9/11, we got the TSA and illegal surveillance programs.
We've also been able to bring back bald-eagles from endangered status. There are more deer and elk now then there have ever been. The USA is one of the only countries with publicly owned land that everyone can use. We have dedicated conservationists who are paid by the government who love to preserve the wildlife that exist here.

Let me explain it this way: Lead shot accumulates in the fields. It gets ingested by insects, worms, and fish. The amount of lead that ducks are exposed to from their food source is now increased. Generationally we will see a growing rate of cancer in ducks. Ducks are smaller animals than us and could be more susceptible to lead. Now duck populations plummet and there is no reversing the amount of lead that is in that environment. End of duck season because now we need to save an endangered species.
