It's Friday Watchya all doing !

Today whilst dropping my 8 year old son to school he presented me with a rather unique , funny , inventive and interesting proposal .

Last Monday was his first official visit to the range with me though I have had him shooting with me and his older brother several times . He has a spelling and math test every Friday that consist of 16 spelling and 30 math table questions .

So the proposal is this ; If he gets 13+ spellings correct and 25+ math tables questions correct would I bring him back to the range and let him shoot my CF pistols !

Win win situation for us both and we high five each each other in the car ....

Anyways today work work and work .. Busy weekend ahead . The 8 year old is making his First Communion on the 26th so I'm looking to do a lot more OT until then as I'm taking that weekend off work ....

Follow up on, and work on finishing the things that should have been done about a week or so ago. With everything that's going on and the weather being so very good, there's things that are getting missed.

So, even with the different "Mother's Day Festivities" that're happening this weekend, we aim to get more done here.

God Willing, and the creeks don't rise ANY HIGHER!

We have company for Mother's Day...

I'm going to range today to work up loads for my new .338 LM and then tomorrow I will till the gardens for planting.

This past winter we had a very early and wet snow storm which broke pretty much every tree in town so now that everything is picking up leaves the new weight is breaking off the limbs that were damaged, so I spent yesterday cutting down semi-broken branches. I just got back from dropping a truck load at the local brush recycle place which is by the archery range so of course I went and shot some arrows too. The rest of the day will be looking for good deals on guns and finishing my second planter box.

Enjoying the company of my wife of 44 years today.
They have been good years. Even living with me, she has kept her great sense of humor.
I have truly been blessed.

catching up on reports tonight from all the crappy bad guys this week and going to enjoy my Monte Cristo Double Corona with a glass of Bulleit Rye in about a hour, cut the grass and work in the garden tomorrow, Sunday do nothing but chill out with wife and daughter.
