Yep. Russia is potentially annoying, and I suspect they have the blood of American solders on their hands by virtue of supporting various dictatorships and terrorist regimes in the Middle East. They also form a strategic threat to Europe, but that's mostly because the Euros are a bunch of pussies who have exploited the Russian threat for years in order to get trillions in economic and military aid from the US. We've enabled their co-dependency, so some of this is our fault.

But China - that will be our true strategic enemy for decades to come (and Russia's enemy, too). We bought and paid for their economic and military capability, and now the barrel of that gun is pointed straight at our face. They took our jobs and then poisoned a generation of our people with their cheap opiates. We willingly dismantled our Arsenal Of Democracy so that we could buy slightly cheaper goods from Walmart and Sears. We've tolerated the bullshit they've shoveled our way via North Korea. We've trained some of their best scientists and businessmen, and we continue to allow them to steal our most valuable secrets.

But ignore all that, because both parties allowed this to happen, and because we rolled over for a big lie.
