    Dropped off the parts yesterday for a 223 bolt gun build. APA is going to build another laser for me. Did I leave anything out? Anyone have suggestions, other than letting you break it in for a couple of years when finished?

    If he did that, he'd have to shoot it in the ATG class. AI is not allowed in the .223 class.

    Already have an APA built 223AI. It is a hammer but, as explained, this is for shooting the Hard Rock match (600 to 1000 yds) and has to be straight 223.

    There was much discussion about tube length. JJ at APA thinks 26" is long enough. I deferred to his experiences as a shooter and builder. Besides, it wouldn't go in my safe

    SW & RM are really pushing each other right now. I just hope to get some "schooling" from them. I'd be happy to finish 3rd to those two!
