..to build a new rifle.....i just ordered a POF 308 so i dont need another 308...i am thinking 7wsm...only problem?...I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE 7WSM!!!

i am going to start slowly part gathering soon...what do you guys think my build sheet should look like?...i will be shooting 180bergers at ranges from 100-1200yards at the max...but again, i have no knowledge of this caliber...

what do you guys think?

168 Bergers are the business for 7mm

The 162 Amax will do really well at 1200yd with that case, you don't need to spring for 180 Bergers at 1200yd unless you really feel the need.

The 168's are good bullets as well, however if you're going to have that much case capacity and spend for Bergers then just shoot the 180s.

Building this on a long action instead of a short action will let you seat the bullets out LONG and still feed from the magazine. I have a 7/300WSM on a long action and it feeds fine.
