Just posting this as a question to those that know more than I concerning the IWI Dan rifle. I was scrolling through FB last night when I saw a post that a SAS sniper shot an ISIS terrorist teaching beheading to students in a village of Syria. I have no idea if that is true or not but was just curious that the article specifically said he used an IWI Dan rifle in .338. It said the distance was 4,000 ft which is around 1,300yds. I had not heard of the Dan rifle and when I looked it up, the Wikipedia article (which could be suspect as well) said that they were being used by the SAS.
So my question is, what are the features and benefits of the IWI Dan in .338 over the AI rifles that I have to assume they have a lot of?
Thanks
