Did you go with the 2" or 6"? I like the idea of the 6", but that looks to be a whole lot of real estate to catch onto everything.

I have the two inch. It fit super tight in a RRS Universal leveling base with QR clamp. So tight I called JAE and they said designed to be that way. Still waiting on my barrel to put it all together. So no real world experience other than playing with it on my tripod.

why? its cool if you never move your bipod, but it will limit how close you can get it to the mag if you need to bring it close to shoot off of a barricade.
Why do people always think, rifle need to be set up to shoot trough barricades..this is why f class shooters and tactical shooters never get along...im from hawaii my island never had and IMO will never have prs shooting comp.. maybe f class here and there but some including myself do practice PRS..My red JAE is 300 norma and will never use for prs but stationary long range range prone..i guess im doing it all wrong coz i should set my 30" barrel shoots trough barricades

If your shooting F class or something like that, you can just reach up and turn it. No need to worry about time. To me, it just seems like more to get in the way in both competition and in the woods. If you like it. Buy it. But some may look at it and think it’s cool, but never thought about the downsides

Shooting prone for both tactical and f class FTR, fundementals is everything loosing sight picture and losing repeatable position is terribly WRONG specially for f class... Reaching bipod and keep resetting position will definitely cost you a big L (LOSE) ..that is why mostly f class bipod has arm
Like this .you dont want to reach forward for that bipod and leave your position as much as possible..that is more important than amount of time shooting time..

Well thats convenient for me (and pretty much everyone else out there) as I cant ever move my bipod because like 99.9% of the rifles out there its... mounted to the end of the stock.

sure, but apparently you haven't seen a MPA chassis or any of the other ones that are having full length ARCA rails. so, no its not for "pretty much everyone else out there" or "99.9%" of the rifles. at least not the custom ones. the full length rails are very popular. again, if it works for you, go for it. I know I am limited on how close I can get the bipod back with a std lever.

You are drastically overestimating how common a system that came to the market less than a year ago is.

(I know acra has been around longer for photography. Less than a year of marketing it to rifles)

Ehh...I'm seeing quite a few rifles with an arca rail nowadays.

To all you who have commented here, I am looking for an RRS leveling base or ball head with 3/8 mounting option. Used condition. Hit me up if you have something you want to get rid of.
