Suppressors JDW Tigershark first time out today

Took some video to compare: First was supressed , and then not.

I used ear protection as this was the first I ever shot a tigershark. I later tried without any hearing protection and realized that I did not need them.

I had to use my blue shirt to remove the hot suppressor sp the second video is in my undershirt. It was Hot and very windy today.

Looks good! Shark makes a great can. You can really tell the difference between suppressed and not.

Yes you do! This is the case with any can and regular ammo. Just because it doesn't hurt, or your ears don't ring doesn't mean it's safe for your ears. Everyone, please use hearing protection, always. If you're mowing the lawn, driving with windows down, hanging out at the laundromat, even using a drill... your environment is too loud and you are damaging your ears.

Only partially, but yes to answer the question, regular drivers of covertibles will not test out with perfect hearing. Likewise, the average population has a few db difference between ears, with less sensitivity in the left. Guess why?

Go get tested. When you're born, you can register at least 20khz. By your 30's most can't hear 16kz AT ALL. This would be the non-shooting, non-mortorcycle riding folks. There are plenty of people though that maintain 18-20khz for their working lives... because they pamper their ears.

Cool vid both links worked for me.
Wanna see really cool video results Try to change filming perspective by getting about 400 yards away from muzzle blast maybe 50 yards perpendicular to a steel target and have the same sound demo done by another shooter while you film downrange. Its the downrange effects that make a suppressor so cool. When suppressed all you will hear is the supersonic crack of the bullet, compared to the loud booming echo when unsuppressed. BTW be careful if you do this be smart dont get too close to the steel may be consider tripod and back away for upclose videos.

You are so correct I was too close and at a bad angle. What i filmed does not do it any justice. I just wanted to play with my camera a little bit.
