I’m just wondering if anyone has had any experience with JEC Customs Brakes. Whether it’s the Quick Brake or the others. I want the Quick Brake because it serves as a mount for my Crux Suppressor. I talked with Jason in January and ordered two, one for a Desert Tech SRS A1 and another in 5/8-24 pitch. No problem, paid him through PayPal on January 26 and still to this day don’t have either one and having trouble getting up with him. I know these are good Brakes, I just don’t understand what the problem could be. I don’t want to bash the guy, he seemed like a good guy when I talked to him. But I would like to have the brakes I bought and paid for.

PayPal credit card, or PayPal bank account? Might try to claim it through the Cc company.

Fortunately I did pay with PayPal. I was giving him the chance to make good but from everything I’ve read all over the internet, that’s not going to happen. I don’t know why I didn’t see it when I was originally looking for a brake mount for my suppressor. I’ve sent him text messages, emails, called but no answer and the voicemail is full! So it’s time to step up and be a dick, contact PayPal and file a claim.

Making sure you don't let a known fraudster steal your money isn't being a dick. ;)

You’re absolutely right Tx Aggie. He did send me a email reply today, so we will see if anything comes up. By the way Tx, ROLL TIDE! I live in T Town and grew up not far from the Tides practice field and Denny Stadium.

Hahaha...Gig'em Aggies!

Seriously though, Tagovailoa, Ruggs, and Surtain are the real deal. Alabama will be a lot of fun to watch this year.

Hope you either get your brakes or your money back. Watch that timelimit on Paypal, you may get to a point where it's too late to file a dispute.

Yes I’m waiting for his response today. I’m giving him until 3 this afternoon and then contacting PayPal. I just don’t get him, everything I have read about his brakes and especially the Quick Brake was talking about how good and effective they are! So why can’t he just build the damn things and sell them like anyone interested in making a little money. I really wanted the Brake because I have a Crux Suppressor, made in Texas, that I like of all of my cans.
