I did some research. The car was a high performance car they placed there and the salesman was the only person that wasn't in on the test drive.

People who are local to the area where this was filmed have said that they are fairly sure that the whole thing was a fabrication on an old Philip Morris cigarette plant's grounds and a used car lot. Apparently, none of the stunt driving was actually done by Gordon.

Really?? Fake?? No shirt, shitlock... I don't believe that anyone ever really thought that this was a real prank or otherwise real. At least I hope not. It was, however, a very funny commercial well designed to go viral, which it has; so kudos to whoever thought it up and pulled it off.
