I think the best thing about a jewel is whatever you set it to break at, it breaks really close to that setting every time. I've not heard or seen another trigger do that.

My Surgeon Scalpel came with a jewell and it has functioned without error for three years. My other rifles all have stock Rem triggers.
That said, because I know people (who I respect very much) who have used rifles in very harsh environments and had jewell triggers fail to function I will keep that in mind. Just because mine has not had a failure does not mean it won't. I have nearly 3K rounds with that trigger and have only doused it once with lighter fluid.
I do want to try Rifle Basix trigger. Perhaps my next build.

I ordered my Jewell acouple weeks ago and it has finally ome in today. Time to install it and go see how she runs...

Have always had jewel trigger in 2 lbs ar's and one bolt gun built by robert at rws. great triggers

I have had 5 timeys in bolt guns had problems with 3 of them
