Gunsmithing jewell trigger and surgeon bottom metal

i have just instaled a jewell trigger into my mcmillian htg with surgeon bottom metal. regular 700 style trigger and 700 action. the safty wont engage wont puish forward at all. it's hitting the bottom metal any idea how to fix this. thanks to all

Take it to a local machine shop. 5 minute fix. Or send it to me. Best choice is go local. But you are correct, safety lever is hitting the top part of the trigger gaurd.

Get some prussion blue marking die. Put some on the safety and see where i hits. 5 minutes with a dermal and your back in business.

Is a Dremel really the right tool? Use a local machine shop. Bring a 12 pack and a $20 bill.
