Slightly before, during, and after the fact.

Re: Joplin Tornado Footage

No offense, but to me, running toward a tornado seems rather a bit like jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. Humans have survival reflexes for good reasons. If it seems dangerous; we are hard wired toward avoidance.

Most of us, anyway. We all learn this lesson, but some are irrevocably bent on doing it the hard way.

The others fall under the category of what I refer to as "an eventually self-correcting problem". Apparently, however, a few of them actually manage to breed before inevitible consequences catch up with them; so their issue, like the poor, are always with us.

The TV ghouls pay people for the footage, perpetuating the advancement of otherwise predictably piss-poor priority choices. I guess enough of the jaded watch such worthless pap that the underarm deodorant merchants (and other bottom feeders) feel justified in supporting the shows. Sorta like Whale Warriors...

I keep mental track of the advertisers, so I can recognize "enlightened self interest"/irresponsibility on the store shelves.

Re: Joplin Tornado Footage

Seems counter productive to drive towards a F5 tornado.
And why is that woman wearing a bike helmet in the car? Like that is going to help her..... hah
