Also anyone else here have one? If so are they as good as they claim?

Questions you should have asked before you bought it...

Re: JP LRP 07

Although these are questions you should have asked before you bought amswers can be provided, its just a little more scary to ask them

First off, they are amazing rifles. I've shot one and know of one other owner of one and both are very happy with their rifles. I think the 22" is good, yeah its long but its not like a RRA 26" barrel. It all depends on what you plan to do with the rifle, but if you decide it is too long/heavy you can always get a different barrel or have that one cut down I guess.

I did actually ask these questions before I made the purchase, however I received conflicting answeres; I shlould have asked these questions here firt - oh well. I guess I just wanted reassurance that I made the right choice.
I'll be using this rifle for mostly 400+ meter shooting so I wanted as much velocity as I could get from their stock barrel lenths. Even though four inches won't make that much difference I thought it was the best choice.

Re: JP LRP 07

Personally, I think 18 inch is optimal for most, unless it is a mag caliber. That is personal opinion though. I like the handyness of the 18inch. Hell, you can always have it cut down if you don't like the longer barrel, but you can't make it longer.

Re: JP LRP 07

They are as good as they claim. I have a CTR02 and a LRP07 and they are incredible rifles. I think they get looked over because they aren't very "tactical looking".
One word of advice- At all costs resist the urge to mess with the trigger and don't let anyone talk you into doing it either. Just because the trigger is adjustable some people feel the need to tinker with it. It is as good as its gonna get right from JP.
