Is this similar to the Noveske switch ??

Its similar in function. Just 3 times the weight (my switchblock is 2.8 oz) and has the gangley picatinny rails on it. Not sure why the hell theyd design it like that. Basically renders it a non-option if you want to put it underneath a precut slot underneath a rail.

The first time I saw that gas block it was on the Remington RSASS (Built by JP) on the military/LE part of the Remington site. So I would think it was built with a specific military requirement in mind at that time.

I would like to see a "switchblock" gas block that is adjustable from the front for use under rails.
