Had to order this one off the 'net.
I loved it! The cast included Spencer Tracy, Maximilian Schell(snagged an Oscar), Marlene Dietrich, William Shatner(he did a great job as Tracy's aide), Montgomery Clift, Richard Widmark. Just some trivia, Werner Klemperer(played the POW camp CO in "Hogan's Heroes") was Jewish. In this movie he was a judge being tried in 1948 for crimes committed on the bench in the name of the Third Reich.
Great movie that dealt with what happened after the Nazi high command was dealt with. It looked at the war and its aftermath through the eyes of the German people("we did not know anything about this"); the Americans("how could you not know?"); and the German judges("I did what I had to do according to the law and you must look at my actions in the context of the time).
I recommend it.
