Sitting in support really suprised me with the last two shots misses. My target tells me that I was muscling the rifle. Or shooting with out natural point of aim at the center of the target.
First shot was an X at 12 oclock'
second shot was a 10 at 3..just barely
Third shot 9 at 8 oclock
Fourth shot M at 8 oclock
fifth shot M at 7 WAAAY out there

Re: JULY 2010 SH SHORT RANGE RIMFIRE COMPETITIONS

Hey Top Predator,
just looking at my 25YP 4P scores fired with the 10-22, and noticed that I must have been useing "new math" when adding total.
Real score on the support side match is 218 7-X.
Congratulations, nice shooting on your part.
Going back to change my original post.

Seems it was just two shooters this month, but i'll post my usual "form phrase".

Thanks to all that participated this month, and your input in the learnings thread. Looking at the different styles of rifles and ammos being used both in the short range and long range matches and the tips and tricks shared, it's turning out to be a good source of information.

For August, we have added a different short range competition the SH 50YD TACTICAL RIMFIRE COMPETITION. Should be interesting.
