Re: Just for you, Switchblade.

nice concept, however:
I loathe fat tires or anything over 180mm
Can't stand fake flame paint jobs. Old school axehead flames ar cool though.
Don't like 'long bikes'(Love 1930's - 1940's Bobbers/Cut Down's)

Now if you went and hooked up that smoker to one fo these it would be calling me for a nice weekend ride

Switchblade,

Is there no end to the depth and breadth of your eclectic expertise?

Perhaps it's good I don't live closer to you as attempting to keep up would be exhausting! And likely unaffordable!

And still you manage to be a good husband and dad!

I'll try to keep up!

qq,
A smart mouthed Marine gets out and goes to civilian work and as soon as he is trained some boss decides to see how he reacts. Smart mouthed Gyrene calls his card, and bam, unemployment line(9x x 9 years). Gyrenes trained for:

Lemme see that is ranged from about 14 to 45 or a Lifetime's experience in more things than a regular person would ever go into because most normal people know when to STFU(i never do)
I would love to have been that quiet guy who started at the low position and worked his way up to retire at a top position or own his own company.
Didn't happen that way so I had to improvise, adapt, adn overcome the only way I knew how and suck it up and drive on to make a living for a sweet girl next door type(Panty 6) with a few kids who just happen to be straight A and Advanced class students(HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN???? Skip a generation?)

Jeff, I don't try to keep up with anyone, don't care what the Jones's have, and just do my own thing. I thouroughly enjoy presenting myself in a t-shirt and jeans so I am underestimated because I just don't want to know most people like that. I pick my friends and associates the best I can, and hang out here because, well, these people are mostly(use it loosely) the kind I want to associate with.
I love food, fast vehicles, the scent of burning race gas, and looking over the day's work to see what I have accomplished(I am thougroughly suprised sometimes). The end of a great day is found with a good cigar, and a nice pour of whatever I grab so I can say, man, life ain't so bad

Re: Just for you, Switchblade.

This line had me laughin!

Well said Switch, one of these days I will make it up your way for a smoke and maybe some BBQ.

Re: Just for you, Switchblade.

Anyone who wants to swing by for a smoke and barbeque is fine by me. We do request a little advance so we can set up though.

Lazy, if you look at the exhaust pipes on the bike they go low by the frame

eevil, that bike is so close to what I want to build. Move that rear fender forward so the DA is at 1100, put 19" wheels front and rear just like they ran on Firestone Blvd back in the day, and give that knuck a upsweep pair of pipes with a nice slash on them and paint her Chili Pepper metal flake, straight pimpin man! I love my Sporty, she's stupid fast, but man every day I look at my great uncle's bobber pics I get this jones for a knuck rigid

Re: Just for you, Switchblade.

All these new customs look cool, and I wouldn't be ashamed to own one, but those old school bikes just stir something deep inside me. If I can get a hold of an old Indian, you'd never get that smile off my face! I'd love to have an old bobber like this!

or I'll take one like this

eevil, is that one of Smokey's (pnc choppers)? Perry's a nut.
Nice scoot, but old bobber its not-RevTech motor gives it away.
