Just ordered RRA Elite Operator 2

With my bolt gun finally back I decided to focus on my AR.

I have a built spikes lower that I intended to put an upper on, and still will, but the rock river deal was to good to pass up. I'm probably going to put a swfa 3x9 on top of it and bring it to North Texas Rifle Precision for my two day class in march.

They've been running that deal for a long time but I agree its a pretty good value. Did they tell you how long you'll have to wait for it?

October 2010 I walked into the local shop and asked the guy to order a RRA Elite Operator 2 and immediately he pointed to the wall. 15 minutes later and I had it. I got the half quad rail handguard, wish I had gotten the full quad though.

Other than that thought, I've loved it. I put a 3-9x40 Leupold on top and haven't looked back. FYI, I've shot about 2k rounds and the only FTE's I've had were with steel cased TulAmmo/Wolf ammo.

So what'd you give for it, the $1000 that it shows at the bottom of the ad? That seems like a pretty good price. I looked at one at a gunshow, but went with the RRA-PDS (piston) carbine instead. I did, however, upgrade to the Operator stock.

1086 otd. I wanted the full quad rail too but i couldn't configure one that way for 1k dollars. I may change it eventually but it's good for now

Yeah? I really like the half-rail--the look and the feel. Seems like there is still plenty of room for...
